My name is Saralee DaPonte. I am a 25 year-old deaf student from South New Jersey. I am currently a graduate student majoring in Media Arts and Technology (MAAT) at Rochester Institute of Technology (RIT). I also graduated from RIT with a bachelor’s degree in Fine Arts in May of 2020. Once I complete my MAAT degree, my goal is to work at a deaf business or start a new deaf history-based museum, using the unique experience and knowledge I gained through this program. Outside of class time, I work at the Creative Workshop department as an administrative assistant located in Memorial Art Gallery.
